So good we came back for round 2

This was our second time staying here as we love the location and the hotel rooms are so comfortable and spacious. Free snacks in the lobby and friendly staff are also a plus.

Wonderful hotel for a relaxing stay

It was really an exceptional stay! Saw this in a fellow traveler's video, and it had a great view so we decided to book here. We booked a deluxe double room and a double room with park view. Great things about the hotel: - rooms were really spacious and are modern (newly renovated, I think)!!! We had so much luggage and a kid, so space was important - it was super clean. Again, we have a kid with us so that is a priority - bathrooms were spacious too, and there was a japanese toilet - staff were really nice!! They greeted us every time we see them, and they were really helpful for questions - there's free water, coffee, soda, snacks - toiletries were complete - the bed and linen were soft and bouncy - location was great! 7-eleven was near, station is also a min walk away, the park was really nice to walk in in the morning. And raohe market is abt 15mins away by uber, or 30mins by bus. There's also a din tai fung nearby if interested. Chiang kai shek memorial is also just 2 stations away. So it's really convenient. But this is a quiet area, not many shops to shop in around the hotel. Not like Ximending or Taipei Main.

The elevator was indeed quite small so our family had to be broken into 2 grps since we had a lot of luggage haha. But it wasnt a "dislike", more of just something to note for others.

What was the highlight of Dolamanco Hotel

Perfect location; great rooms

The hotel's location is perfect, overlooking the beautiful park. It is walking distance from Da'an and other shops at Xinyi. There is a MRT station next door from where we could connect to the metro for the airport. The reception and elevators are a bit run down and outdated but the rooms are excellent. They are bigger than other hotels we stayed in, in Taiwan.

The wi-fi in the room was not very good. Also, considering the temperature, it would be good to have a heating facility in the AC, which is currently only for cooling. If the reception is renovated, it will give a more uplifting feeling to guests.

Location: The hotel was beside an MRT station and was easily reached from the airport. The hotel was also in front of a large park so it was great for early morning or early evening walks and runs. Cheap food places are also nearby.

Convenient location in a quiet district of Taipei that is very accessible. Mtr station is 100m from the hotel and Da'an park is across the street.

Good value and excellent location.

The location is excellent. It is only a few steps away from the Daan Park metro. The room was comfortable and clean.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the thermostat light was so bright. The room had excellent curtains, so the brightness was especially noticeable. If light bothers you, bring a sticky note or something to tape over the display.

Great location and friendly staff.

The location is excellent. It is close to a subway exit and opposite to a city park, so the air is good and we can take a morning walk in the park. While no breakfast, they provide a coffee machine and free snacks in the lobby, and great restaurants are only one subway stop away. The room size is adequate and the lighting design is good.

The hotel appears to be renovated from an older building, we wish that the elevator can be larger and faster.

Excellent location. Quite old place in a need of renovation.

Excellent location. The staff tries the best to maintain cleanliness of the place.

Old, worn out hotel. Bathroom sometimes has a smell of old, unventilated damp place. No matter how much they would try to maintain cleanliness (and they do a lot, which is nice), the age of the place can be felt.

Nice room with Daan Park view

The room was very big and the view on the park is surely a plus. Lots of natural lights in the morning. Big comfortable bed, very clean and tidy. Very close to MRT station of Da'an Park. I will surely consider it for future travels in Taipei.

Its cosy and clean. Few steps away from the MRT station, Family Mart and 7-11. Located opposite the beautiful Daan Forest Part.

Conveniently located, clean and comfortable space with quirky decor that didn't break the bank.

Quiet room, comfortable bed, toiletries and personal care items like combs, toothbrushes and other amenities thoughtfully provided. They held our luggage for a few hours after we checked out which we greatly appreciated.

Email communication with staff was challenging. The person we corresponded with was not very helpful or friendly. The person who welcomed us into the hotel in the morning was also not very friendly. However the afternoon staff at check-out were lovely.

Great!!!

They were very kind and helpful, we had no problem to understand each other in English. The room had a good size and was comfortable, they cleaned it up every day. The breakfast was really good with many options, and the situation was great, is right next to the exit 6 of the Dan Park Station (red line) so you can go easily to anywhere in the city, sometimes even walking, and the park which is right in front of the hotel is so beautiful. I absolutely recommend it.

Picnic by the park

Perfect location opposite Daan Park and next to red line MRT and with good supermarket up side street by MRT. Well equipped room, everything worked with a free supply of biscuits, water and newspapers. Despite language limitations the staff did their best to sort out a billing problem.

Western breakfast options very limited and restaurant small and understaffed. Bed very soft - but ok for us. We were overcharged for our stay and had communication problems trying to resolve it. Manager did his best though and we're hopeful of a refund.

I can never reccommend.

I booked for 4nights from 2/19-2/23/18, but i am so disappointed bec I had a hard time communicating with the hotel when my flight was delayed, I emailed them as soon as possible last 2/17 but i have to call long distance bec they were not replying & the one i talked to her name was Ariel, cannot even understand me and she hanged me up for a couple of minutes bec she doesn't know what to do, to think that am calling long distance, and worst is, they obliged me to pay the 2/19 which is my original arrival but bec my airline was delayed for 1day so my arrival in Taipei was moved to 2/20/18, it was beyond my control but they still obliged me to pay the 2/19 even Im not yet there. No consideration at all, I gave them a heads up as soon as I knew that my flight was delayed last 2/17-2/18. Instead they moved my booking from 2/19-2/22 because the 2/19 day rate is more expensive than the rest of my 4nights, so i am really disappointed. They are only after for the money but never consider the guest situation.

What was the highlight of Dolamanco Hotel

We had a 3-day visit to Taroko National Park. The park is very beautiful. The gorges are stunning.

The staff spoke perfect English. Every breakfast was different and even more joy then the one before. Staff was very helpful with appropriate excursions/activities.

There was really nothing I did not like. Hence all the "Excellent"
